In Paul’s first letter to the Corinthian church, he outlines the Gifts of the Spirit and their operation as being for the edification of the church and happening at will through the Holy Spirit. Two of the gifts Paul mentioned, the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge, can be very easily misunderstood in this day and age as seemingly more and more ministers jump on board to give prophetic declarations.
